JiNa OCR Converter is a program designed to help you convert scanned PDFs and images to popular file formats, such as DOC, RTF, HTML, etc. The utility comes with a user-friendly interface, supports batch processing, and immediately generates the files you need.
All you need to do is to import your scanned documents, select the preferred output formats, and click the "Convert Now" button. The tool also gives you access to an option to split the imported documents if needed. To be more exact, the program is capable of extracting pages from the loaded scanned file. This feature might prove to be of good use if you need to easily convert a certain amount of pages from a scanned document.
In my testing, I imported 2 scanned documents and chose individual output profiles. The utility immediately completed the conversion process, without slowing down my PC.
However, in one one of the output files (a DOC document), the page layout was a bit different from the one I had in the scanned document. To be more precise, some drawings weren't aligned like in the original file. However, the text content was accurate.
All in all, I think you should first try the trial version of the program to see how it converts your scanned documents. Then, you can decide if it's the right tool for you or not.
